Rules: Win against Hard difficulty Virus while giving the virus a 5 turn head start meaning that only field offices may be constructed, tech researched, and personel recurited for 5 turns before all actions become available towards beating the virus.

I have already done this challenge for 3 and 4 turn head starts and am curious if it is possible to do a 5 turn headstart. The main problem is i suspect it will not be possible in the majority of starts but may still be possible with a perfect start.

Please reply if you can beat this challenge and the difficulty found the challenge to be.

That sounds like a really interesting challenge, will try that out myself ;)

After 4 tries I managed to make it! Took me 21 turns, a bunch of operative sacrifices and some luck on the situations. Nice idea, if you come up with a new one, let us know ;)

I have already completed this challenge however I was very lucky in getting 30k from an event early so good luck.

(Optional hard mode of challenge: beating it with the diplomat as the chosen class)

I suggest making this challenge into three achivements one at 3 turns, 4 turns, and 5 turns headstart for the virus on hard difficulty.

If the optional hard mode of this challenge is possible i suggest making this challenge into two achivements one of the normal rules and another for the optional mode.

No diplomat/scientist/medic/cure, done. My marines have many upgrades.

Honestly, the game seemed to easy once I figured out mechanics. Trying to win win 2 operatives atm, not working out so far :(

I've already been constructing 3/4 field offices first thing, before doing anything else. Guess I'll try 4/4 :D

Good luck i dont think this will be possible but i am curious i have been trying to do this with a scientist so i would expect the difficulty to be extreme to impossible.
