Game won't get past 505 screen
Hey,

My game won't start for some reason. It only gets to the 505 screen for a few seconds, and then it crashed. I've tried running through steam, in the folder and as the admin

Thanks!

If the game is crashing right after the 505 screen it sounds like you are having a problem playing the opening video. Are you able to play the video on the Steam Store page? If so then the video file on your computer that was downloaded with the game may be corrupt. Have you tried redownloading the game? Also check out the size of that file.

I can watch the video on the store page but not on the game. I've also re-downloaded the game several times. It's 966MB, 972MB on disk. Thanks for your fast responsed by the way!

Can you try running Steam in admin mode? For some that solved the issue for now.

Ah, that did the trick! Thanks for sticking through my tech troubles: Running steam in admin mode has let it launch.
