Wiki + Tips&Tutorials + Hidden MovementMechanics (Video)
Since you can find tons of stuff out there but you never know if it's up to date or good here is an up to date collection of tutorials by mostly the best ns2 players you can find.

The Movementmechanics are different from most games - and not explained by any official tutorial - since you can maintain speed or gain speed by strafing.

If you do not know how to strafe, counterstrafe or master the backwardsjump then you have quite the disadvantage while fighting skilled players. This is the Secret to how 4k Hiveskill players stay alive and do not slow down.

Sadly even players with thousands of hours haven't grasped how movement works - which is why I made the following Video which explains in the first 5 Minutes it works

You might be right, that it would be better to included it in the wiki. When this collection was originally done the official wiki was outdated - now it seems more up to date.

The goal was to reach more of the general playerbase since there are many hidden mechanics throughout the game which most players even after tons of hours not understand.

That is why the same content can also be found on the ENSL Site (European Natural Selection League) on www.ensl.org/tutorials - that is officially linked on most of the official NS2 Servers and can be instantly found if you go on the ENSL Page.

There is already a wikipage which is linked on the top of the link that is operated I think by UWE/Devs and contains knowledge about numbers and technical stuff.

This is a tutorialcollection was mostly done by players of the competitive ns2 community that are the most experienced players in the game.
There are of course more tutorials / helpful stuff out there, but a lot of it is either outdated or quite flawed

I personally looked through all the tutorials on the page - and yes, they are all still up to date (or the differences are very subtle). Just because something is old it doesn't mean it is outdated. That is why this page was made in the first place to distinguish between the outdated stuff and the stuff which is up to date.

Since I'm not a wiki-keeper I cannot uphold that for wiki...
If noone works on the wiki anymore I might need to remove that.

wiki can yet be improved. For example, still no "Contamination", "Tunnel" and "Bile mine" pages. Guides also don't cover absolutely everything, namely advanced alien commnader tutorial is non-existant at the moment.
