ns 2 is such a fail.
Zen Sudoku 2.
Such a fail it has an active player base after 8 years. It may not have been subnautica numbers, but not bad at all for any developer.
The game never had a large following and unfortunately the following it had died too soon. In my region, Australia, we get maybe a few games on a single server if we are lucky during peak hours. Otherwise we are stuck on either Asian or US West servers and having to deal with the ping. Even then there are not a lot of active players.

The stats are depressing.
If they did make NS3 I would hope they go back to what made NS1 so fun.
As the game looks still good nowadays, i am sure rebranding and rereleasing will work fine.
Mandy and Ruri, maybe its fail for you, but I can tell you...We, current players are not the ones missing all the action ;)
