The update cycle slowed down a lot, since they started working on the matched play mode and currently they are busy with importing the hiveskill system to steam instead of hosting it themself.

So the game is still in active development, even if its golden age is behind it? That's good to hear, I've been looking for a good asymmetric shooter ever since Evolve died.

Game is not in "active" development, no. That being said, small updates still roll out.

The best word combination is : "Une question" ("La" question is more existencialist written as it, i.e : "La question" ("du jour" - of the day - or "La question" as the biggest question to answer ever)). In old French (from the medieval to The Revolution era), "La question" is more about an interrogatory or torture.

Devs have just announced they are ceasing active development of the game

I am confused..it says the devs are stopping active development but I thought they stopped and the community did the updates since 2014?
