there is no shame in going f2p. starcraft2 did and cs go(#1 game in steam) did it too

By "more talk" you mean "more mess for other people to clean". Don't be that angry child who makes a mess just because he is in the mood.

Cs go has free and "premium" servers, latter only available to those who paid or who played a lot. And apparently free servers have bad share of cheaters and smurfs.
Ofc NS2 can't even support free servers, it only has community ones. And all community servers will only accept non-f2p players or get flooded with... undesirable elements, so f2ps still won't be able to play. Except in private homemade servers/solo, or in places like noob haven where they get dominated by smurfs and quit ns2
