RIP NS2
One of the most innovative FPS games in over a decade, slowly put on life support and abandoned because of Charlie Cleveland and UWE protest against gun violence and guns in video games causing violence, leading to subnautica (minecraft in water). I am genuinely surprised they did not pull the plug ages ago. They ruined the competitive scene and ruined the community pretty early but the community refused to let go. So they kept suckling money out of the community with skins and small updates until I guess they just don't feel like it anymore.

RIP NS2. One of the greatest FPS games of the 2010's, no other game is like it. Yes yes some servers will still live but this is it..

Silica has performance issues but is definitely not given up on pretty sure it had an update just yesterday.

Wait the people who made this were protesting? If that's the case. They are imbeciles doing that on a company account for any reason.

those devs said they will add co-up multi to subnautica , i bought the game they didnt add it, when i asked for it ,fan boys linched me.

? Subnautica devs didnt say they will 'add' it. They said they will litterally look into it, but didnt make promises.

I'm seriously hoping there''s a chance another developer could buy the rights to make another, a reliable dev/publisher. But the thing is NS2 and Subnautica are technically all canon in the same universe, there's several hints in all of the games. Alterra corporation is the theme of the map Docking, which is the same company that you are a part of in Subnautica for example.

It wouldn't be simple.
