Team Fortress Classic is better than Team Fortress 2 by the way.
Speaking of classics, I feel I wanna try my hand at the original NS if I were to ever set foot in NS2. How lively is the original NS? Not that much, I like to imagine, but still people there, yes?
They made Subnautica, which did vastly better.
Subnautica - Over 5,000,000 copies sold
NS2 - Over 300,000 copies sold
There is no real reason for them to continue working on a unsuccessful game series.
NS2 had a low player count after few weeks.
I highly doubt they'll learn from that mistake, hell their CEO Charlie Cleveland went on a rant against guns due to sandy hook, firmly indicating that he believes in the fairytale that removing legally owned guns will also remove the illegal ones owned by criminals. Which already indicates the CEO himself cant think for himself.
Which will lead to ....
If they do Natural Selection 2, it'll probably be a battle royale or whatever other supposed fotm flavor of gaming has the biggest spotlight at that time.
It'll prob have some great mechanics like NS1 and 2 did, most of the devs themselves arent bad after all, but it'll bomb.
