people like OP will never realize the meaning of an open space and off work, people will be unfilitered and unhinged when theyre not paid to be around you.
youve clearly never been to dreamhack or any contested event in your entire life if youre bothered by this, if people are passionate about anything then theyll act something like the above and if you cant handle it ? turn off the computerscreen.
a lot of flashbacks from competitions reading your blob of text expressing your online trauma and kind of reminded me of reckful missing out badly because of other players, get a freakin life dude
Furthermore, since when did you need to get paid to have some decency and respect? You clearly are way above your head, so focused on your own argument that you fail to listen to others. Additionaly, next time stick to what you know and don't go reaching to some ''youve clearly never been to dreamhack or any contested event in your entire life if youre bothered by this''
respect is something you earn, youre in an unfilitered open space with people who wants to win
are you the salty veteran that OP is referring to by any chance cuz you sure sound like it
They only care if they are having fun.
And I wonder why it is dead. Or dying. That is funny right?
Dont worry about them. The game is on life supports now. And they are mad that this community killed it. It is a shame but ya.
I have played a lot of competitive games. Hell, I did competitive halo back when it .... was in its golden age. I have also probably have played more competitive games then you overall. This is nothing like any of those games. This game has the worse community then even league (back when I still played that ♥♥♥♥ game).
And you want to know why this game is dead? It is not because of anticheat which is laughable because I would argue that EAC and root level anti cheat usually makes the game worse. And usually doesn't do anything to stop cheaters. Or if someone is good they can get around with it. AND THEY LITERALLY HAVE KERNEL ACCESS TO YOUR MACHINE. Hell, genshin impact has that ♥♥♥♥ and a ransomware happened to that game because of that. To their users. Get the ♥♥♥♥ out of here with that ♥♥♥♥. We don't need that for more games.
And not every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mp game needs a progression system. As long as the gameplay is fun then the game will do well. It is as simple as that. You want to know the main reason why natural selection 2 is dead. Why no one plays it? It isn't because of those so called issues you mentioned. No. It is because of this god awful community. As I said before. This is why it is dying or already dead. Stop fooling yourself. Again this is a shame because I know this game could've been a lot bigger than it was. But it wasn't.
What? Is that supposed to mean halo wasn’t competitive. Because this is the dumbest comment you could’ve said. There is a reason why mlg and what not become so popular. It was because of halo tbh and the insane user base. It dead because of 343 and their “design”. Back during its golden age. And yes. Halo focus wasn’t on the cb side of things and more of a party game (popularity makes games e sports and what not). But it still had that side to it. Trust me on that.
Those were dark times for NS2, before ELO existed, people would stack game after game knowing intuitively who was good and who wasn't.
I was probably the guy he was talking about. I generally have good ideas on patterns that should be followed based on X,Y,Z precursors, like, if your alien team is consistently losing fights, and your hive is about to get rushed, DON'T DEFEND, you will lose, you have to base rush. If you base rush instead of defending, your chances of winning go up significantly, even when you are lower skilled players. Generally noobs learn faster when more experienced players are expressing themselves, even if its toxic, if you are a smart you can actually ignore the tone of the lesson, and actually learn from them, but most people, are so put off by the packaging of the lesson, they can't handle even contemplating the lesson itself. Though packaging is important, I prefer to express my emotions rather than cater to carebears who can't handle a person aggressively trying to teach them. Muting is in the game, but most people are too stupid to mute, cause they are vindictive and would rather kick, with the feeling, I GOT HIM, HE DESERVED IT.
