Rank Not Updating

I have been playing on the ranked servers and my xp is not progressing at all. Without being able to rank up, i am constantly being kicked from servers due to the lack of required rank and this is limiting me to one server. I have noticed that the official forum thread on this issue has not been updated for days. This is pretty poor. Is a fix imminent or should i just go for a refund?

You should be able to join most of the servers anyway no matter what rank you are. To what server are you limited to?

I get auto kicked from any server that is designated higher than rookie and there is currently only one ranked server that is of rookie level. The fact that i cant rank up is severely restricting. The xp bar has been stuck at zero.

I host myself an ns2 server and I see rookies on my server and by default a server does not kick you for whatever rank you have. There might be servers that only allow a certain skill but usually they are not filled currently. Did you do the tutorial?

I did the majority of the tutorial. Would not completing it cause my rank and xp to not progress?

I talked quickly to a dev if the tutorial is a requirement to play on other servers but rookie only and he said you are able to join any other server no matter if you finished the tutorial or not.

Can you make a screenshot of the kick message? What server did you try?
