"Your Game Files do not match servers" - annoyed to death!

Hello everyone. I get that message quite often. On different Computers but with same Steam Acc. It appears midst of the game, just when you have ress for a lifeform, then get dropped. Can't rejoin afterwards. Need to verify game cache to rejoin. It's super annoying and I can't understand how my Game files would lose consistency with the server from one second to another. It's on different servers, too. Basically all servers.

All the old topics I found are regarding some Mods, but I have no Mods activated. Need help, it's super frustrating! Thanks!

So I tried the following:

1. Type this into your file explorer: %appdata% \natural selection 2
2. Locate for the system_options.xml and delete it (It will reset your settings like graphic quality, resolution etc).

but it had no effect. My settings did not even get reset.

also tried that:

1. Disable the steam cloud for Natural Selection 2 by right-clicking at the game's entry in your libary -> properties -> Updates -> untick Enable Steam Cloud.
2. Delete /Steam/userdata/<steamid>/4920 (resets remote options by generating a new options.xml the next time you start NS2). /Steam/ should be your steam install folder.

did no help either. =(

Is this the only error in your log file? Could you upload the full log somewhere?

I also recommend to empty the workshop folder inside inside %appdata% \natural selection 2 . Mods will be downloaded again when you join the server.

Thanks for the reply Wooza. The issue seemed to be fixed for now. I only had it one more time on NS2RUS server. All other server seem to be fine now. looks like one of the above methods did the trick.

Here is an update:

I reinstalled my System on a new SSD. Reinstalled the game. Steam Cloud Sync is disabled.
So I should be sitting on a fresh install with no deadweights.

I still get the damn Error. It's driving me nuts.
Here is the log again:

I am seeing:

[ 81.356] MainThread : Error: 10 memory leaks in 'D3D11Device' (400 bytes)
[ 81.361] MainThread : Error: 10 memory leaks in 'Client' (400 bytes)
[ 81.396] MainThread : Error: 10 memory leaks in 'Engine' (400 bytes)

Memory leaks on my Graphicscard? Is it broken or is this Software related?
