Graphics flickering blinking shadows bug fix use D3D9 not D3D11
It's been a while since i last played and im not sure if it's nvidia or windows 10 drivers but it seems that D3D11 Beta shadows don't work any more and instead causes flickering artefacts.

It's a simple fix that didn't come up in a quick search so im posting to help others in future. The older directx is more stable and as far as i can tell makes no difference to quality.

I have also noticed the shadow flickering issue.

Yes, this is true, shadows do not work in D3D11 at the moment. Please use D3D9 instead if you wish to play with shadows enabled.

There are two more bugs that have been around for a long time which seems never got fixed or noticed.

1. Sound becomes choppy with too much action going on and sometimes sounds just won't play. As a map creator this can be annoying knowing a source should work but rarely does. You can test the choppy sound though by loading up ns2_co_fightbox then add five or more bots to each team. The music gets messed up and will stop eventually.

2. Vsync double or triple buffer sometimes stops working while still showing as on. Mainly happens under d3d11 mode.
