New Tropico 6 DLC – Tropican Shores Makes Waves June 18
El Presidente expands the nation of Tropico to the ocean

El Presidente is excited to announce the latest DLC for Tropico 6 "Tropican Shores"!
Tropican Shores brings a host of new features to the game including new buildings, sandbox maps, edicts, and more making waves on June 18 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4|5.

In Tropican Shores, you will navigate the ebbs and flows of your paradise as El Prez graciously authorizes the expansion of the glorious nation of Tropico to the bountiful seas.

Fifteen new buildings change the tides of Tropico with new opportunities for infrastructure, entertainment, public services and more along with the shiny new resource plucked from the abundant depths of the ocean – Pearls. Offshore buildings do come at a cost, but as always, El Prez has you covered with three new edicts that will effectively reduce construction costs and increase their efficiency, while also offering new options to tax your citizens.

Tropican Shores also brings four new sandbox maps to the game including the map from the Yachts for El Presidente scenario along with options to enhance your sea style including a new Scuba Outfit, with activities galore like Submarine Tours and even Dolphin Therapy to relax from your tiresome yet rewarding role in keeping the nation of Tropico afloat. Ride the tide of prosperity as you dive into the new scenario Yachts for El Presidente, that will serve as a guide to assist in navigating the new features and additions in Tropican Shores.

El Presidente freut sich, den neuesten DLC für Tropico 6 "Tropican Shores" anzukündigen!
Der DLC Tropican Shores führt euch aufs Wasser und bietet eine Vielzahl neuer Features, darunter neue Gebäude, Sandbox-Karten, Verordnungen und das Szenario „Yachten für El Presidente“. Die neue Erweiterung erscheint am 18. Juni 2024 für Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC sowie PlayStation 4|5.

In Tropican Shores leitet ihr die Tropicaner durch die Gezeiten eures Paradieses, während El Prez die Ausdehnung des glorreichen Inselstaats Tropico auf die reichhaltigen Meere genehmigt. Reitet auf der Welle des Wohlstands, während ihr in das neue Szenario „Yachten für El Presidente“ eintaucht. Dieses dient als Ankerpunkt, um die Features und Neuerungen von Tropican Shores kennenzulernen.

Auf den Tropicanischen Gewässern warten großartige Veränderungen auf die Inselnation Tropico: 15 neue Gebäude bieten neue Möglichkeiten für Infrastruktur, Unterhaltung, öffentliche Einrichtungen und vieles mehr, zusammen mit einer glänzenden neuen Ressource, die aus den reichen Tiefen des Ozeans stammt: Perlen. Offshore-Gebäude sind zwar mit Kosten verbunden, aber wie immer hat El Prez vorgesorgt: Drei neue Verordnungen senken die Baukosten und erhöhen deren Effizienz, während sie neue Möglichkeiten zur Besteuerung der Bürger bieten.

Außerdem bietet Tropican Shores vier neue Sandbox-Karten, darunter die Karte aus dem Szenario „Yachten für El Presidente“. Um auch im Wasser eine gute Figur zu machen, bekommt El Prez mit dem Scuba Outfit einen modischen Taucheranzug. Abgerundet wird Tropican Shores mit zahlreichen Aktivitäten wie U-Boot-Touren und einer erholsamen Delfin-Therapie, um sich von der anstrengenden, aber lohnenden Arbeit auf dem Wasser zu erholen.

Hi Deso,

With the archipelago design of Tropico 6, you will be able to enjoy and greatly benefit from the 15 new waterbased buildings that will elevate the gameplay possibilities and strategies on every single available map.
The Waterborne DLC of Tropico 5 focused on multiple scenarios and only a few waterbased buildings. Also, the impact of the buildings wasn’t as big as in the Tropican Shores DLC and provided less gameplay opportunities.

...so that was the secret of the "Quest ???"? Or there is a reason to continue decoding it? Alsom if you give a text version of the quest-messages in the comments - that would be fabuolus. OCR works pretty bad with text from screenshots.

Neat dlc, btw.

Sounds nice. I hope only, more goodies will come later, probably aroound christmas. :) Yep i dream for Apocalypse alike for Tropico 4, or something.

Is there any way to activate the Tropican Shores stuff in a previous save? So far I only see it in new games. I have a massive city I'd like to expand into the ocean.

The DLC content can only be used in new saves.

it shows in the ads this dlc have 4 sandbox map, why it only shows one in game ?

The one shown is a mission map? - Sandbox map is compleet Sandbox so far i know. but yeah i also feel a bit mewh about the fact that i only see 1 mission for this DLC.
