Did they ever fix tourism?
I stopped playing a few years ago because I'd seen most of what the game had to offer, but it was impossible to run a tourism sector that worked, ran a profit, or even made sense, because the tourists appeared hardcoded to visit one or two attractions and ignore everything else. This was regardless of attraction type, tourist type, tourism ratings, work modes, service quality, etc. Attractions would simply not be used, period. I was wondering if this has been fixed?

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is such a funny question, because after the Summer 2019 update EVERYTHING changed for Tourism. It beats Industry in EVERY conceivable way like holy crap just lock all workplace slots, minimize the budget and enable the Hotel camarote workmode and youre golden! 💀

If you had a problem after that though then theres truly no hope for you, but you managed to make industry work? Jesus...

Both tourism and industry are viable at making loadsa money.

Just that, tourism doesn't work when there is fighting, they leave as soon as the rebels or foreign nations initiate an attack.

Also, tourists and tropicans highly favor hitting up the highest service quality buildings. Have 2 attractions next to each other, the first is 110 service quality vs 70 service quality, people will go to the 110 service quality first, without fail.

Add attraction #3 with 90 service quality nearby and the overflow will prioritize going to #3 once the 110 quality is full, entirely skipping the 70 quality, only when there is even more overflow is when they finally decide to hit up the 70 quality attraction.
