Suggestions for hiring college educated immigrants?
Once or twice I've had these sorts of quests in the past and there doesn't seem to be any simple way to complete them. I'll have an immigration office and set it to try and recruit trained immigrants but it still seems to take forever. Any thoughts? I wonder if it's because I have a college and locally-educated people are taking all the jobs... It seems as if directly hiring a foreign worker doesn't count, but is trying to rescue educated a good strategy? Thanks as always for any advice.

As far as I am aware, all quests that want you to hire a college-educated immigrant want you to select a building that needs college-educated workers and click on an empty workplace to hire a worker. If you don't have a building with available workplaces that needs college-educated workers, you can right-click on a worker at the building to fire them and free up the position for a new hire.

There's also an option in the Broker menu to get college-educated immigrants for Swiss money, but I've never used it so I can't tell you if it'll complete the quest.
Hmm. I seem to remember doing that in the past and it not working, but entirely possible I misunderstood something. Couldn't hurt to try!
The pirate lair has an option to rescue educated people, give that a try otherwise Joeball123 is correct.
