dont ask dont tell.
I got something I would like to do something whit. 1 is there a reason why a constitutions can only have 3 options.
two soldiers and militia seperate that what I mean we currently have the Military constitutions.
that have, Disarmament, Professional(HighSchool) and militia(no education level required).
what I would like to see is.
--Official Military stand--.
Professional Army (High school or greater only) as its now.
Conscription(no education will try and fill as quickly as possible).
Disarment (no soldiers at all) as its now.
Milita Law.
to start whit each military building have a limit amount of weapons so even if you have enough to form hundreds of squad you might only see 3 becose your military building can´t supply any more guns)
- Voluntarily only
(pop whit high aproval will fight for you).
-[Neutral world power view],
- expectation to defend Tropico:
only low approval citizen will refuse some might turn against you and join the enemy. (get a lot of free soldiers but risk feeding the enemy)
[Negative political view]
-Forbidden by law. (no militia will form and might lowers the amount of additional rebels as citizen have problem getting equipment and will just get out of the way instead.
[Positive polical view]
so you can have a country whit no official army but have a lot of Voluntaries or conscripts thats defend it against pirates attacks and what not (note no navy or airpower).
or have an army of professional army backed by whats essential additional conscription.
whit that mode in the army base/baracks to set it to
normal (1 squad + 1-3 militia)
Milita focus (0 squads + 3-6 militias).
or State arms only 2 Squad + zero militias).
note the militas combat effectiveness is based on both Official Military stand and Milita laws and if you got Rights to arm.
also weapons factory have supply tropical first workmode increase effectiveness of all soldiers over time. and gives a multiplyer to the amount of Militias that you can have, but steadily consumes some produced weapons the bigger army+possible max militia the more is consumed locally.
why you migft dial back on the militia size.
Palace informs you of total army and total possible Milita whit a expected actual militia.
aka Voluntarily only whit only 50% aproval so you have posible 300 militia squad but an estimated actual milita squad size of 10.
But sure a bunch of military teamed buildings a mission or two plus a chunk of outfits both for the player(male female) and your citizen whit accessory (option to choice what your army is outfitted whit, Axis(StormTroppen), Alice(GI), Royal blue/Red(modern version of Colony era outfits),
Rambo wannabes and so on.
what I would like in the DLC(make them worth the 5USD dont go EA/Activations and nickle and dime... like 99Cent for a red dot
like Tropico 6 Military DLC:
1-2 mission.
a doses building whit variation.
Edicts to run whit them.
several complet set of outfits + accessory.
and in general a more in deapth mechanic for said system the DLC was around.
not what we had earlier in tropico 3,4,5.
1 building.
1 mission (really short also).
1-2 decorative items whit next to no variety.
1 outfit or accessory male or female. kid you not I play female only and there are DLC that contained for me 1 mission and 1 building and no cosmetic items for my gender.
Splitting the Constitution let it be free as part of the DLC patch.
