Ideas About Aerial/airport/planes content/ DLC
for Tropico i would like adding content oriented about aviation, an area i think Tropico can have good gameplay form toutching motre into.*

One of the ideas (incorporated with others) is the introduction of dirt runways. this would have several functions.one is the obvious of easy transportation, allowing the populace, if they can afford to fly around Tropico. to expand on this, i think it would be fitting to have a sort of aerial teamster, allowing for fast transport and import/export of goods and citizens. here it would be good to have a catch, say you only can fly certain goods at certain stages, but this i wil get back to.

I think also yopu could have different stages/sizes of airports. say you have large ones, like the ones already in the game, for tourisists. I Tink these could have more functions like the dock, allowing for import/export of certain stages. alos you would have these smaller outback airports, for local transport.

but wait, More suggestions!

around these airports you can have a lot of gameplay. say you could have an airplane factory!
this building would require to be connected to a road, and be built next to an airport to function.(or maybe you coulld have the airplanes be shipped to the airport by boat/truck.)
say, In the WW era, you coud build and planes out of planks for the fuselage, rubber for the tyres and cloth for covering, and steel for engine parts, ( in hindsight this is probably a bit mutch resource need for one factory, but this could be customised after need.) later say the demand for resources changes, say that in one point in the WW era, the World War round 2, break out, and the requirements, demands for the productions of planes changes. Say you would need to have aluminium for fuselage, and choose to add weapons to the planes depending on the planes made. (like in the Toy factory where you can choose what raw resource to use to make toys)
also in the cold war you could add complexity by adding electronics in the plane production.

with this increace in complexity, the planes of the diferent times wil have different specifications.
say the first airplanes can carry few passengers, and little cargo, but this increaces as you get progessively better and more advanced planes. A far fetched idea would to have different plane types, say some only for cargo used by air teamsters, a passenger one, say an commercial for airlines, and a private one for El Prez or Filthy Rich induvidials.
also maybe adding a military plane. this could be the base of missions and tasks in the WW era. I think the best way to administrate the different types of airplanes buildt would be through a workmode based system, as meantioned earlier.

Furthermore, as an expansion to this plane manufactory, you could ad an Airline! say you would build like an airline hub next to a large airport and start your own El Prez Air! here you could set up routes to the superpowers, and get in charter tourists. or this could be used as an aid in getting support from one of the superpowers, as an diplomatic act.

to add more control and options for this you could build an Department of aviation, giving buffs or giving you options on how to run this Aviation adventure of Yours.

And this is just a idea of how this could look like. But imagine the mission and campaign potential this would add!
You could have missions about becoming an airline king, of having say many outback airports,
or starting a tropican airline manufactory.
Furthermore, fore mor missions, one coud be to become the biggest airplane producer between the superpowers, by beating Airbus/Boeing/Tupolev as a mission goal.
Also, you coul have an mission revealin that Amelia Earheart didnt acctually dissapear in the pacific, But ended up on tropico, needing el presidente to get her up and flying again.

All in all, this is just a barebones thought that passed me, but i hope you can enjoy reading my suggestion, and please give more suggestions to this scenario!

Ps: sorry for any bad english, feel free to correct me!
