Potential Colonial Era & World Wars / Infrastructure DLC Suggestion!
Devs,

Congrats on taking over the development of T6! Now that you're here, here's a DLC idea for ya!

A DLC to revamp the Colonial Era and World Wars eras. First, what it'd include:

1) A railway system & train line for the Colonial era. For players who play using only a few larger, flatter islands, this could be wonderful. Also, people love trains. Instead of having to walk or use busses to get everywhere, players could use trains & train stops & routes. You could use the routes code from the Drones & Clones DLC combined with the bus route / subway logic system, so not as much coding / potential bugs either.

2) Tramways. Building on infrastructure, tramways were a thing in colonial times. Horses powered quasi-busses in major cities. They were lines grooved into the roads in the middle of major urban avenues.

3) Horses! Let Tropicans get horses. Ranches could raise horses as warhorses or meat. A 1x1 building (a horse stand) could then exist that'd let Tropicans pick up a horse and ride it somewhere else, using similar logic to garages & transport drones.

4) Natives! More interactions with Ancient Ruins. Why not have a faction in them? "Natives" to talk to. They'd, of course, be jaded & super-cynical, but depending on your relationship with them, they could integrate, or you could fight them for their stuff &, or trade & leave them be. Depending on your choices, late-game, you could get a reservation for them to live on & continue interacting with them, or they wouldn't exist anymore.

5) Ferries! Similar to how busses work, but across water at docks. Tropican pathing logic is not good at using piers at the moment - it's about the only flaw in their pathing, which is otherwise very well-done - but ferries could be a workaround.

6) Indentured servants! Let El Presidente (or Governors in this case) buy them from abroad in the colonial era. They will never get wealth above "Poor" however, and are more prone to becoming criminals than normal Tropicans.

7) Lamps! If you ever played the now-abandoned game Urban Empire, lots of its infrastructure items could fit nicely into Tropico 6 as decorations / edicts. Urban Empire was also published by Kalypso so you can likely ask those devs freely about it :)

About 1 and 2. They are actually an good idea, giving the fact railway existed in these times on cuba or so9mewhere. 3: Horses also provide meat like beef and pigs does. 4. Natives might be an intresting idea. Like adding natives viliage close to ruins.
