Multiple ideas (07.10.2024 update)
1. Oil refinery - produce fuel from oil in CW era can be upgraded to coal-fuel, in modern era upgrade to produce fuel just from seawater or sugar/corn (hydrogen/bio fuel or something like that) but require collage workers and increase building upkeep.
2. Fertilizer Factory - produce fertilizer from manure, with Supply Local Market could boost all types of agricultural buildings
3. Chemical plant - T4 building, generate income just from working workers (like bank or office) or consume oil.
4. Modular factory - industrial version of Agriculture Tower from New Frontiers dlc, can only produce simple things like for example: rum or juice
5. Radar dish/observatory - generate knowledge points or could spy neighbors generating raid points and small bonus to raid buildings.
6. 6G tower - free internet for everybody! greatly increase liberty and small bonus for housing, job quality, tourism. Do not cause any health problems, produce small amounts of aluminum.
7. Pirate ship hotel (ship-on-rent from T4) - sail ship from pirate cove repurposed to be hotel or restaurant, need to be placed on beach
8. Tree plantation - can produce logs or coconuts, no soil requirements and good production output but is big building, require high school workers and electricity
9. Heavy Machine Factory - can produce different things (like plantation).
a) Agriculture machine (tractor, harvesters,...) with Supply Local Market could boost all types of agricultural buildings
b) Truck Factory - produce trucks (obviously) with SLM Teamster's Office carry more goods.
c) Military Factory - produce APCs, tanks,... with SLM boost Tropico army efficiency
d) Construction machines factory - produce bulldozers, loaders,... with SLM boost mines and construction office
10. Bicycle factory - bicycle part is a "placeholder", there are many things that could be produced here: bicycles, kick scooters, swegways and so on... with SLM boost moving speed on foot, both tropicans and tourists.
11. International Airport - modern times big building, all types of tourist can use it, immigrants too. No limits how many peoples can arrive in one plane. Maybe upgrades like private jet terminal for rich/filty rich tourists, cargo terminal.
12. Seaplane Terminal - don't have much idea for that, but it is strange to me that a country like Tropico does not have a seaplane base and I would love to see it in game. Maybe a luxury entertainment building (scenic flights) ?
13. Aerospace manufactory - produce small planes or airships
14. Home appliance factory - use aluminium to produce fridges, mixers and so one. Upgrade in MT consume also electronics to produce "smart" things.
15. Military helipad - small/medium size but expensive building that send combat helicopter to fight Tropico enemies. In MT can be upgraded to combat drone so pilot don't die when drone is shoot down.
16. Modern house - modern version of house (2x1)
17. Common hood/Almshouse - MT residential building for broke/poor, maybe repurposed old warehouse/factory or something modern for 10 families, don't decrease beauty, require electricity, minimal if any income, people are automatically evicted if not broke/poor
18. Tire factory - produce tires from rubber, WW times building
19. No smoking edict - production of cigars is disabled (maybe also tobacco) bonus to healthcare, small decrease capitalist and conservatives standing.
20. Hacienda - mid/upper class residential building that also can produce cash crops like sugar cocoa tobacco coffee
21. Gold vault - produce income (swiss account with work mode) based on amount gold in storage, unique building.
22. Geothermal Plant - generates more electricity when close to volcano or build on "hot spot"
23. Automated Underground Parking - more expensive to maintain MT version of standard parking, no beauty and security decrease, require electricity. Can upgrade with solars panels to remove electricity requirements.
24. Video Games Studio - in radio you can hear about El Presidente video game, so maybe create new building that create video games.
25. President salary edict - El Presidente also should earn money for hard work. Every month X amount of money is transferred from national treasure to swiss account, no corruption increase because this is official salary. Unlocked in WW era.
26. Factory Ranch produce manure - all factory ranches should produce manure as by product no matter what work mode is chosen.
27. Tool Factory - People and industry need tools, starting from a simple hammer and ending with a plasma torch. This could be even a colonial era building to use iron/aluminum for tool production.
28. Modern trucks - expensive upgrade for teamsters office, increase speed and cargo capacity (by 50%) CANNOT be combined with Loose Load Limits
