Make a new Pirate Tropico!

Tropico 2 Pirate Cove remains one of my favorite games of all time.

I really liked Tropico 3, and then Tropico 4 which was basically just Tropico 3 again, I never really played 5 or 6 but TBH it looks like it's still Tropico 3 with extra content, maybe I'm just not seeing it because it's thematically the same as it ever was.

Why not thematically shake things up with a return to an age of plunder and booty in glorious 3d?

I was JUST about to write the exact same thing, I just saw that tropico 6 was on sale but I played 5 a few times and 4 aswell and looks like this is basically the same. I think they need to either make a new concept or make new interesting DLC's to tropico 6, not just adding new buildings and products but whole new mechanics. Like cities skylines have done with some of their DLC's. Generally I hate dlc's but if it is enough richness and add more replayability to a game i can stand behind it, for a reasonable cost, like 10 Euros.

I wanna add that I also admire that the devs keep making sequels that are faithful to what their fans love, I'm not trying to come in and say "Stop making Tropical Dictator sims" I'm just saying, a little variety between them would be great. It would mix things up so that when the next Modern Era Tropico dropped, it would seem fresh.
