DLC character weapons

Some of the DLC characters have S class in weapons, but some others, like Eclaire, have a bunch of A's. What weapon would you recommend / do you prefer on these characters?

Miabel: Staff
Hanako: Fist
Almaz: Sword or Axe
Sapphire: Sword or Axe
Dark Eclair: Sword or Axe
Ash: Sword or Axe
Marona: Staff
Pleinair: Gun
Pram: Staff

Those are what I like to use with the DLC characters.

Years later, but I am looking into this exact thing today so figured I'd share what I found.

If the idea is to focus on a character's best stats, also to get some variety, here's what I think is good.

Hanako: Fist (Her SPD stat is amazing)
Almaz: Sword (He was summoned as the 'Strongest Swordsman' after all)
Sapphire: Bow or Gun (Her HIT stat is best)

Everyone else has an S class weapon mastery, which will give you the best results.
