Damn, I've played the game on PSP so I knew he was cool, but I've completed you know what and I almost shed a tear :'(

Me too :). I was pleasantly surprised at how good Axel mode was.

Yeah, it's incredibly well written, when you play the "main story" you see Axel as a loser, and then BAM you see him from an another light, that's trully incredible how they managed to do that.
