Game having problems saving!

So, just got this game today. Played for about 2 hours, and accidentally got myself trapped somewhere on the map. Figured I'd save and quit then reopen the game to get myself unstuck.

Instead, when I saved, the game closed and when I opened it back up, my whole save file was gone. I just replayed the game for 2 hours, and got even farther. I don't wanna lose my save again, so if anyone is having the same problem or knows how to fix it, can I get some help? Thanks!
(Also, my playtime thing isn't working, and it says I've only played 13 minutes?)
Edit: Lost me save again. Attempted an Item World, and because I had no saves, it's gone again. That one's on me.
Edit: Fixed!!! Everything's working now!!! :D

Any save in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\{youruserid}\495280\remote\"?

Also, when you say you were trapped, did you try jumping? Some people don't immediately realize that you can jump since you couldn't in the first game, it's kind of a common issue.

I have literally no idea how to get to those files
