Loser/Friendly Fire Felony help
So, I have a few questions about earning these felonies:
1) for the Loser Felony, are there any types of deaths that do not count towards that, such as ally kills? Do your characters have to be killed by enemies only? Do deaths caused by base panel shenanigans count, like throwing humanoid enemies into them? Can I get credit if I get killed from damage and deathblow panels?
2) for Friendly Fire Felony, are there any unusual situations that count as an ally kill (other than directly targeting and attacking your own allies)?

Thanks in advance.

I can't help much with this since these aren't felonies that one would usually go after (any reason in particular for such, btw?), but looking through my characters, I only have the Friendly Fire one for Adell (who killed a lot of my units by throwing uncapturable enemies in the base panel) and my Prinnies (so allies killed by their explosions count as well). None of them have the Loser felony, though, so your guess is as good as mine.

So you're saying that throwing a humanoid enemy into the base panel will give the thrower a stack of ally kills? Is that correct?

yeah, it's the fastest way to farm those for the bad endings

I'm just going for the felonies out of boredom, as a kind of pseudo-completionist thing to do. But also to test out the finer game mechanics that almost nobody bothers with. Yeah, I'm one of THOSE type of Disgaea players. lol

Actually, disregard what I said (or at least to some extent, feel free to test it out to reach your own conclusions). I just tried to recreate it with Rozalin and it didn't give her the felony. It also didn't register my ally kills properly - I did it twice, which registered only 20-ish ally kills in my Dark Record, but I have over 100 characters (which I resurrected for my 2nd attempt). I believed it only counted my units who were equipped with weights (who got promptly resurrected after the battle was over. Most of them kept their weights, which I believe is a common bug, albeit inconsistent). There's some weird shenanigans going on here...

Also, just to be sure, the characters you're farming these on are already on their final reincarnation and you haven't taken charge for their felonies, right? Most felonies reset after you reincarnate, though some don't come back even if you meet their requirements again (masteries, IIRC the "Reincarnating" one, probably more of them).

No, this is my 3rd or 4th time playing this from a new game. I've been deep into Disgaea 2 before, on both PS2 and PSP. I was doing some item collection during the early game and wanted to pass time unlocking felonies on the main characters while hopping through item worlds, etc. I'm in the middle of finding out if putting characters on deathblow panels will yield any Loser felonies. Needless to say...it's gonna take a while.

Okay, so I tried multiple times both throwing humanoid enemies in the base panel and standing on deathblow panels and letting enemies hit my characters. No progress so far. I just don't know what counts as "getting killed" for these Loser felonies. I really need help!

I'm having no luck on my end either, though I was mostly killing my own units instead of letting the enemies do the dirty work. Throwing prinnies (to make either them or the ally being exploded to get the "Loser" felony) doesn't work. I initially thought that me using weights was affecting it somehow (like, "what if it's programmed to trigger from the hospital resurrecting the character instead of triggering from the characters' deaths itself?"), but I also did it the "proper" way and it didn't matter in the end. I also killed my own units with skills rather than throwing prinnies, no difference. Changing from Holt/LoC and Dark World/normal stages also didn't seem to do anything.

Heck, this and other stuff I re-tested only made me more confused regarding the "Friendly Fire" felony. Now I have no idea how I got it for 2 of my prinnies (since I can't seem to get it for my 3rd one).

I guess there's a slight chance that the "Being a Loser" felony was removed from this version (or maybe even from DHD) and it was just overlooked? Perhaps one bug or another preventing it from being acquired? *shrugs*

I finally managed to get a Loser felony, but I'm still unsure if I was getting credit from standing on deathblow panels and letting enemies have at it. I also tried lifting yellow allies as well (Prism, Kurtis, etc) and letting them crush my characters. I'm starting to err on the side of, you really have to let the enemy critically damage you in some form to get credit.
