Yep, worked for me, too. Thanks. Can't believe the dialogue boxes are glitched on some systems though, kinda makes the game unplayable.
If you edit the OpenGL32.ini file and set the EnableCEGUI=true to parameter to EnableCEGUI=false it shuts off the yellow overlay that comes up on the upper left.
Edit: Was able to play once. Now the screen either goes completely black or there's a rectangle of a graphic in the lower part of the screen that looks like it's part of an in game splash screen. Can't see the menu to toggle back out of full screen mode in case that would fix it, can't switch out of full screen mode using the usual method (alt-enter does nothing) and none of the pretty prinny settings seem to override it.
Edit: For some reason deleting the shaders and CEGUI folders fixed it...
Edit - yes, again: Now the screen is going black again when I boot up the game so deleting the shaders and CEGUI did *NOT* fix it this time around - BUT I went into the OpenGL32.ini file and under [Window.System] I set Borderless=false and Fullscreen=false and that seemed to do the trick this time.
Hope this helps some folks but it's kind of ridiculous that you have to do this much just to make the game work... I can't imagine the frustration people who don't know how to mess around with .ini files, etc. must feel when things aren't working.
