Try throwing/combining the senators that voted for you on top of (lower leveled) ones that are against you. The combined unit will be in your favor, so keep chaining that until all nay-sayers are gone.

I'm not sure if you can get a game over through these bills, I don't think I ever accidentally tried to force one, but better safe than sorry

You can leave a battle in the Switch version of Disgaea 1 and I think maybe Disgaea 5. You still lose your manna in the Switch version of Disgaea 1 though.

I don't think Disgaea 2 will ever get the HD treatment like Disgaea 1 did. If it did, I'd imagine they'd add the feature to it.

This is where bribery comes to play. If you want senators to love you, you have to give them any leftovers thats taking up space at your warehouse. Make sure you get the innocents/specialists out of them such as Gladiators, etc. Spread it among your crew's weapon and armor. Even a single digit helps a lot. Level each item to lvl 10 in the item world. Kill the item general in each one. If you dont have the specialist in an item, restart the game and go in again. Only use Mr Gency Exit at floor 11 to nail the last specialist if its 2/3! Never ever use any Gency Exits at every 10th floor.

You need to get rid of senators who loathe you by trying to pass the "raise war funds" bill. You have 24 inventory slots so your bribes are limited till the next session. I suggest bribing the wood golem party first since they have the loudest vote in DA. Make sure each item you give them is either they have interest in or a must have! Never bribe the Balciel, Sleeping Ghosts, and White Dragons. Its a waste.

Once you have enough influence, be a senator yourself and pass a bill to make the wood golem parties voice louder. From there you profit.

Also when you try to pass a bill, SAVE FIRST! DO NOT GAMBLE IN THE DARK ASSEMBLY!
