Not sure what caused your settings to change, but I think you can still use the keyboard to work things out. IIRC it uses WASD for movement and IJKL for the basic commands (K to confirm and L to cancel, to get you started). There are other commands as well, but I don't remember them off the top of my head. To revert the font back to normal, it should be the "UI" option in the settings. And I'm assume you were previously using a controller? I'm not sure why the game isn't detecting it, so other than "verify if it's properly connected", "check the batteries (if any)" or "restart the game and pray", I don't really know what could help.

apparently its a bug people have been having since the game came out, no idea why. never used a controler before. solve the issue by deleting the game.cfg file in the game's directory. so if anyone else gets this problem that's how you solve it
