Main menu is just black boxes.

Looked through her and online but any of the fixes I've come across didn't work. Closest was the pretty Prinny mod but the versions either made the entire screen black, or solved the issue but would crash the game in less then a minute.
Anyone know any other ways to tackle this issue?

I looked through the troubleshooting subforum and an user said it could be AMD issue.
Download AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.6.1 to fix.
If you rollback the software, the game displays properly according to the user.
Didn't try though, i just wanted to drop the cards, i'm saving Disgaea 2 for later.

I noticed this happens if you play on AMD gpu, including integrated graphics. In my case, in Windows Graphics Settings I set the game up to use Nvidia GPU. Funny enough, if you play on Linux with AMD integrated graphics, it works fine.
