Also if you manage to win against Etna, you'll be rewarded with a game over.
Not sure either, but I'm assuming it's the DW version. IIRC the speedrun of the game uses it a few times, but other than that, your guess is as good as mine.
Treasure Maps are like Dream Hands from D1, the Enemys start at Lv. 255+ and the Level
increases insanely fast (280 for Floor 2 )
Which can be exploited in multiple ways.
1. Create 10 Thieves and try your Luck with stealing completly overpowered Gear with a 1% Chanche.
2. Find a Prinny Mistery Room ( can take forever) Then just throw them around and enjoy
your hopefully awesome Bonus Gauge 0 Weapon Reward.

Definitely something my Lv.17 Archer should have
3. Wait until the Stage has a Death Blow Panel and try to fuse as many Enemys as you can
and then Death Blow them =). Accuracy isn't that much of a Issue. While it varies my Lv.15+
Units usually can hit Lv.1000+ Enemys with a 40%/80% chanche.

She was Lv.16 before this Stage.
Eventually your Unit gonna be able to fight against this Lv.280 Units and way more important, you can deal enough Damage to the Treasure Chests to get the great Loot inside them.
Obviously doing any of this gonna absolutely trivialize the Story, so i would not recommend it.
Not dunking on your response or anything, it's pretty cool that you've found an alternative on your own that also works, I'd just be a little bit more reserved with terms like "the best way" and such.
Also, I'm not sure if you've already realized (it wasn't very clear in your 3rd example), but the 40/80% accuracy is due to hitting enemies from the side/behind, those numbers being the lowest values possible for those positions. It can be a bit tricky/inconsistent when you're in a diagonal in relation to them, though, I'm not sure how the game determines which value to apply.
But I agree that, either way, exploiting these things would make the story portion of the game a joke, for better or worse. Use them at your own discretion.
Isn't the first DW Fight against a Lv.100 Enemy? That is not something you can normally deal with when you reach Etna on your first Playtrough.
Co0 also gonna be tough but at least the Enemys are only Level 60. Can't deny though that i should have gone with : a good Method instead of the best.
About the Accuracy i knew that attacking from behind gives you a higher chanche, but i did not knew that it is a fixed Amount or rather that it can't get lower then 40/80%. Unsurprisingly my Units dropped down to 5-10% when the tried attacking from the Front. It is just that i never tried attacking Lv.300+ Units from the front, since i am not dumb :D
