Mouse control handles like controller d-pad/can't turn the camera 90 degrees while using the d-pad or mouse
During battles, rather than smoothly following my mouse cursor like how the game handles analog stick movement, the arrow that shows what tile you're currently looking at follows the mouse cursor by having sudden jumps from tile to tile. Or rather, it functionally works the same way as it would moving from tile to tile via the d-pad on a controller.

I also noticed that while you can turn the camera 90 degrees while using an analog stick at the same time, you cannot do this while using the d-pad or while you are using a mouse to move across the map. You have to stop moving the mouse or stop pushing on the d-pad in order to change camera angle

This was never fixed. It'd be better if you could turn the camera 90 degrees while moving your mouse at the same time just like how you can with a controller.

Hey Battlechili! The devs are looking for a bit more description of this bug and your specs. Thanks, dood!

Basically, whenever you are on a battle map (such as a level in Item World, for example) if you're using a controller and press R1/RB or L1/LB (depending upon your controller), the camera turns 90 degrees. If you're using the analog stick to move the game cursor across the map and press these buttons while doing this, the camera will still turn 90 degrees as its supposed to.

But if you're using a mouse and keyboard and press the Q or E keys (the designated keys for turning the camera) while moving your mouse cursor around the map (while not holding the left mouse button), the camera will sometimes not turn.

I think this might have something to do with the first problem I mentioned. The d-pad and analog sticks on a controller do not function exactly the same for this game. When you use a d-pad to move the cursor across a battle map, you can only move left and right and tile by tile. But when you use an analog stick, you can smoothly move across a map in any direction. When you try to turn the camera 90 degrees while at the same time using the d-pad to move across tiles on a map, it will not turn, but if you try to turn the camera 90 degrees while using an analog stick to move across tiles on the map, it will turn.

I believe when using a mouse and keyboard, the mouse functions similarly to a d-pad on a controller when not holding the left mouse button. For example, if you move your mouse cursor over a space that's not quite over any one particular tile very suddenly from a tile far away from that location, the game will not register that movement and thus not show your cursor over the tile you intended or even next to that location, presumably because the mouse cursor isn't over any one particular tile. This also means that sometimes it will appear that the in-game tile cursor is lagging behind your mouse hand-cursor. And of course, as I said earlier, the camera will not turn 90 degrees when pressing the E or Q keys while the player is moving the mouse cursor.
