When I start it, it seems to be misdetecting the screen resolution, thinking it's way higher than it is. So I'm only able to see a part of the screen, and part of the menu which should be in the middle.
Without being able to tell it the right screen resolution, this doesn't seem like it's fixable. That sucks. :(
40% off right now - oh well
As for fixes - unsure if they will happen, coz:

It seems that Disgaea 2 asks the Linux system "What's the resolution of your monitor?" and gets given back the resolution of the primary monitor (in my case, the largest).
However, when it starts Disgaea 2 *always* forces itself to start on monitor 0 (the leftmost one) which is smaller. Thus screwing up the resolution and being unusable.
The way I found to fix this was to completely unplug both side monitors, and remove all configuration setting for them, leaving just the main center monitor active. With that done, Disgaea2 gets the correct resolution side for the monitor, and starts ok on it.
That being said, I found Disgaea2 pretty boring. Disgaea 1 was interesting enough, but number 2 not so. If I knew that in advance, I wouldn't have bought it. :)
