Game Wont Start up

so i just bought the game today on sale,but whenever i tried to launch it,it tells me i have to have steam running to play it,but i opened it from steam and other games work fine,pls help.

same here, but in my case I saw the loading icon moving and my steam frame become green for a while and then go back to blue. I tried to relog steam and restart my pc but still the game won't start up.

Having the same problem as this guy. Anybody got any tips?
