fps drops here and there
fullscreen A, no filters
gtx1060
ryzen 1800
16GB ram

dualshock 4

you'd think my config is overkill for a game I used to play on ps2, but the fps drops when jumping around, or even when characters move during battles is pretty annoying. attacks without animations activated also seem to trigger some stutter.

that is a shame, without those the game would be pretty much perfect, but this just makes me want to stop playing... dood.

If I had to guess it has to do with Windows 10. I'm having the same experience. However, running the game under Linux presents no microstuttering, even though Linux instance I used was within a virtual machine on the same machine from which the stuttering was occuring.
I was reading through many of these where NISAAlex had responded asking for a recording.

I found that this only lasts for around an hour before getting butter smooth out of nowhere.. until you restart the game.

Mine never gets better. There is always a jump in frame time when jumping or scrolling through menus rapidly. It's really most noticable with Stem in-home streaming.
It also doesn't exist in Linux or with AMD cards. So it seems to be an Nvidia/Windows issue. Probably something driver related, but I can't be certain.
Glad to hear yours gets better after an hour.

If this problem comes back for you i have found a solution. Going into the Nvidia Control Panel and setting Threaded Optimization to Off resolves the frame drops.

Setting Shader Caching to Off while there may help as well, but wasn't anything noticable in my case. Thought you might like to know.
