Controller-based performance issues. Proposed solution?
So, I've got a good, very standardized machine, but this game was having all sorts of issues, from significant frame stuttering, to crashes, to messing up mouse acceleration and other things on the machine even after closing the game (both normally and from crash), requiring a full restart to get things back to normal. Haven't experienced anything like it with any other game.

After a fair amount of troubleshooting, I eventually figured out that all these issues were easily resolved simply by, disconnecting my wireless 360 controller before playing (connected using the official 360 wireless USB adapter), and using only mouse/keyboard input. It's nice the game is finally stable and working, but I really like using controllers for this sort of game.

Would it be possible to get this controller issue fixed with a patch? Or alternatively, can anyone suggest a different controller that works better for them with this game?

Here's my specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
i7-8750H
16GB RAM
GeForce GTX 1060 (driver 398.36)
