Im the opposite.
I suggested (a couple times in fact) to the devs that SOD3 should start with the players legacy pool characters from sod2 having a big celebration like "wow guys we defeated the plague hearts".
Then some disaster striking, them all dying and the player having to kill all their zombies. then cut to the timejump forward.
It got laughs, so im fingers crossed
When it comes to the save the games so old its got a save file size limit of like 1MB.
The bigger issue is that they arent updating sod2 anymore.
Perhaps a pool with 100% Red Talon Operatives serves your purpose best and this is why being the boss burdens you with so many important decisions.
On a good note, hiring from your pool will relieve you of the negative hidden traits you find from prospect hires in game. Hiring in this manner draws from your pool without regrets.
It will also spare you the time & resources spent acquiring the prospect hire.
How ironic it is that just like in real life you have to get by in SoD2 with what you've got and that no two games are the same. If you can handle this you qualify for SoD3.
I have 5 games saves with 12 in each one and 28 in the pool.
Almost 2k hours played.
the ones i need are still active and like said above i keep now the best of my best.
maybe 12 are worth to keep now.
I like your way of thinking. I do a same thing. Even if its only Lethal gameplay...also i look for survivors with negative traits..even once with negative worker amount, eating or other high penalty toons.
Making the hard decisions about who'll stay and who'll go is part of the 'game' as a community manager.
From my own play throughs I'll start with leader type and only keep survivors that have morale bonuses linked to that leader type.
For example sherrifs have access to the lounge 3, lounge beds count as outdoor beds, the lounge counts as having a projector and place to relax.
Keeping only survivors with beneficial skills and morale bonuses you'll start to realise just how many 'duds' are in the survivor lottery.
