Lots of neat ideas but game feels too bulky / not snappy enough
For context, I'm a big Master of Magic fan. In short, I think SKR is well designed. But after playin for only 30 minutes or so, I had to quit. In short, I wish the game felt less bulky.

On both my laptop and gaming PC, the UI didn't feel super-responsive. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but that really affected my experience. It felt like the game was built in Unity or something; or like built within something built within something. For example, I clicked into my quest list and clicked between each quest. Ideally it would take like 40ms to load the text, but it takes like 300ms on my gaming PC.

I love the "clay-ish" graphics style. But ultimately I feel the gameplay would be better using well drawn and animated 2d graphics (e.g. Warcraft 2).


I have to run, but wanted to share the feedback that came to mind. I feel like there's good game design here. But it's being short sold due mostly to engineering decisions / game not feeling snappy enough.
