Hey,

Each paint bucket has it's own color, unless it's a paint mixer. You 'select' color by holding E on bucket and choosing the action with color. Mixer is used to mix already existing colors into a new one.

Then you can paint on drawboard with the following color by looking at the drawboard and holding middle mouse button.
