Performance tips?
I bought this game yesterday and instantly loved it, however whenever I look about I get framerate stutter (especially when I fall and respawn).

My hardware is: I7 950 @ 3.7ghz, GTX 970, 24GB RAM.

Any help would be great, I have had no problem playing pretty much anything else and the game doesn't seem too demanding. I have tried all the usual stuff, updating drivers, uninstall/reinstall. nothing helped.

Also is there any way to edit setting in the game?

You can try setting the skybox to static using the menu panel on the right of the wall infront of you when you spawn in the main menu, the default dynamically animated skybox can take some performance.

I gave that a try and it worked great, I can now play the game without bothering too much about performance (I now have an excuse to upgrade I think).

I think your main issue is your processor, which looks like it's super old.

Sadly, being as old as it is you'll end up replacing your entire motherboard and are probably best off getting an entirely new computer, possibly without graphics card though as a 970 should be sufficient for most VR experiences, though higher will always get you a nicer experience haha.

Yeah my CPU is 9 years old this christmas! Finally time to upgrade, held off because like you say everything bar the GPU needs replaced now :D
