To be fair, I've had 3 updates for Climbey go through already today, so he's not entirely off-base.

Think I figured out the problems with all the "updates". I'm subbed to several community maps, and it finally dawned on me that all the updates people are getting are probably actually just updates for those maps. Especially because most updates are just a few hundred kb in size. So while I can live with it, if others are miffed about them all, you can just simply uninstall the game or unsubscribe from the community maps you may have already downloaded.
