2 bugs [solved] (thanks Brian!)
instead of posting twice I'm gonna ask my questions on two different issues in this post
(oculus rift)

1. Sometimes when I load up the game I get these two magnifier things on each hand sticking inward and they simply just zoom in anything in sight when looked through, however the issue is when this does happen I cannot move at all nor get rid of them, matter of fact I haven't seen these anywhere else in the game besides randomly when they load in with me stuck to my hands. To fix I just restart the game till it doesn't load in with me and I am free to start as normal

2.whenever I go into a sever or start my own I can hear and talk back to the other players who are using voice chat as well, however randomly the audio will just cut out not allowing me to chat nor hear anyone and they cannot hear me as well. It seems that both issues are slowing occurring more frequently with the audio issue happening almost every time I join/make a server I can still hear gameplay audio no issues at all.

game bugs? bugs caused by valve? mistakes on my part?

The first one, that's because Unity games don't load hands properly if you open the SteamVR overlay while the game is loading, or have it open while it's loading. You have to make sure the overlay isn't open when you get into the game or into a level.

Second one might be something related to Unity not picking your mic back up when it gets cut off or switched to anything else, could potentially be related to Oculus turning off the headset while you're not wearing it, or windows doing something weird. Hard to pinpoint exactly what is going on here as I've not experienced that myself.
I've also got a sneaking suspicion you're getting disconnected from the voice server due to a bad connection, because I've seen you in-game and you're generally quite laggy and jumpy, are you on a wired connection or using wifi?

I've noticed today that the second issue happens in other games as well just very rarely compared to climbey so I think you go the right idea, I use a wifi connection and yeah I really should get wired, need to get a longer cable tho, I'll pick one up soon and lyk what happens, regardless however it might not be a complete fix as my wifi is very very slow... I live in south georgia (USA) lmaoooo hicks here don't have fast internet lmao. so not much I can do I already pay as high as the only internet provider in my city will let me. very unfortune ig.
