If i have the SteamVR Knuckles Controllers, will i instantly get the knuckles patch and are there patches for other things besides headsets and steam profiles?

The game just checks what you're using and shows badges accordingly. So yes.

There are no badges for other things, knuckles is the first input-specific one.
