I do need to update the demo to reflect the current game version however, so thanks for pointing this out.
Also, I think you just need to remove one little option in the bindings, called "touch grab override". This was put in place to try and mitigate some issues with Quest input being delayed, but can cause some controllers to not report it being pressed at all, and may need to be removed in some cases which you can pretty easily do yourself.
(I would appreciate it if you could update your review on Steam if you figured out your issue by the way, it came off as pretty aggressively negative.)
I was on vacation while this was initially posted, if I wasn't I would've probably ended up banning the guy for sure.
Am assuming this is just a kid and they've calmed the hell down since, though, so I figured it was fair enough to leave them unbanned for now.
(Thin ice for sure though.)
