My oculus is not working with this game

I have just bought this game and booted it up and when I selected a button in game and was taken to the oculus home without being able to get back to the game. I have contacted oculus support however they said they cannot help.
Has anybody elso using rift had this problem?

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Turn on the SteamVR Beta branch, there's a glitch with SteamVR that makes it crash when rumble is activated on Oculus which is what's happening here, SteamVR beta has a fix implemented.

You can also wait until it gets into the main SteamVR branch but if you want the fix right now you get it by switch SteamVR to the Beta branch in its properties on Steam.

I've had this problem, I'm waiting for the branch to update. ShadowBrain - really enjoy your game - hoping for a quick fix so I can introduce my friend to it. Do you know when it'll be patched or are you considering a hotfix to address the issue?

Sadly no hotfix possible here, it's all on Valve to update SteamVR :/
I'm hoping the fixes will get merged into the main branch soon as they do generally do that about once a month or so.
