Friends can't see my game, I can't see theirs.

I hadn't had this issue prior but now I'm unable to see my friends in any games let alone join them. My friends can't seem to join each other either. We've all tried hosting, and all can't join one another.

Edit: They can now see each others servers but I can't see anyones. Not even the normal server browser will display any servers. Theirs are displaying however.

I recently updated the game and made it connect with a different version as a result, this makes it so I can add new stuff without breaking old servers with new features.

It's likely that your game just wasn't up to date while theirs was. Let me know if it persists though, but a Steam restart generally makes Steam pick up on game updates.
