About the Oculus Quest situation
So, Brian, heard about the rejection from the Oculus Store. Does this mean that Climbey will not come to Quest at all? I saw the description on SideQuest for the demo. Do you have any kind of ETA (if it's even coming at all) on the paid release on SideQuest?

Not entirely true, I'm completely open to making a standalone port (and have kinda done so) for literally any other standalone headset, I just don't see it being on Sidequest because I'm not comfortable putting APKs out there without some sort of DRM that'd prevent pirates from just directly uploading it elsewhere for people to download with no further effort.

If Sidequest ever figures out DRM for paid titles I might reconsider, until then though it's gonna be a nope from me dawg.

Quest's official store is too locked down, and Sidequest is the other extreme where piracy is easy and takes no effort at all right now.

it's not getting a standalone quest port at all . the full version isn't coming to sidequest as it'd be far too easy to pirate. so unless oculus accepts the game, climbey is a pcvr exclusive.

You can do Virtual Desktop with a patch to allow SteamVR, but then for some reason the controls, at least on the demo which I downloaded to see how it ran, entirely lock up and make it impossible to play, you physically can't move or do anything.
