Please add Grey Knights Class to the game
Just make it happen, we need a Space Marine Class, 100% would come back for that, game got old fast after initial campaign human classes feel stale :(

Grey Knights would make no sense. If anything, it'd be the chapter invented just for this game.
With how marine-like the crusader already is, it doesn't make sense in general anyways though.

Whole game doesnt make sense anyway, there is no way a human iquisitor or not could take on CSM let along a dreadnought and actually the Grey Knights would fit in just fine, zero issue you would just not have to play them and you could be happy, everyone wins.

Grey knights are astartes or inquisitor? You don't have to answer this question. And this is why you won't see grey knights in this game.

Some inquisitors can and will ♥♥♥♥ up a bunch of CSM or even Hellbrutes.

Grey Knights are not inquisitors.
Grey Knights are the "Chamber Militant" of the Ordo Malleus. This means they are the army of the anti-Chaos inquisitor order.

This game is just a bit of a hack slash, with little variation in missions (go here, kill stuff on the way, kill the big boss at the end, have some voices over to explain why) with little actual variation, I can see a Grey Knight being interesting to play. They would definitely get buffs against daemons, but otherwise would be just elite Astartes / Space Marines. They'd be very similar to the Crusader in playstyle - a re-skin and slight change might work.

For me the game has not gotten old yet, but I completely agree with the Grey Knights part, could be really cool :steamsunny:

Chaos gate just got released, now is the time to capitalize on getting the Grey Knights class announced, come on peeps make it happen.
Akemi Mera 26 May, 2022 @ 11:44pm
okay but how you make it fit into story? Very important
gruber12 27 May, 2022 @ 3:20am
there is no such thing as "grey knights... please report to the nearest Inquisitor for re-education

Hey hey..We need a class where we can play as the Emperor or Horus back from the dead but with lightsabers. Make this happen and i will come back to the game. Playing the game for the reasons i bought it for are no longer valid to me.

Just make it happen

Grey knights are 'super-space marines'. Just regular space marines first, perhaps; even that would be a pretty big power leap to the others.

Grey Knights are not the Inquisition. They may work with the Inquisition on occasion, but they are not the Inquisition.

I COULD see some Ordo Malleuis getting involved due to some of what happens in the main story (no spoilers here!) but the Grey Knights are too busy fighting daemonic foes to bother with Inquisitors who do not draw their attention.

At least, unless they do it 'again'.

Maybe a Season based on daemonic influence where the Grey Knights are mentioned, but them actually showing up? Nope. It was bad enough when a lowly Astartes sergeant spoke of them. Yes, he spoke to an Inquisitor, but still over a vox link! Secrets only stay secret when no one talks about them!

On one hand - an Inquisitor CAN 'request' the help of the Grey Knights - that's the whole plot of Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, after all - but core canon is that anyone that is not of the Ordo Malleus that learns of the existence of the Gray Kngihts are killed, or, if too valuable, mind scrubbed and then re-educated. (To learn how to use a spoon etc.). We play as an Inquisitor of Ordo Hereticus in this game, I believe, so Gray Knights would be... problematic at best.

I guess the OP likes Chaos Gate Daemonhunters. It's a cool game. But.. it would be a bad fit for this game, really.

It bothered me greatly that Caius Thorn spoke about them so openly and clearly during a campaign mission. I think saying such over vox would bother THEM just as much. It was one line of dialogue during the middle of a mission, but still...

Drawing their attention is a BAD IDEA.

Especially since apparently, a certain Inquisitor did before...

Well, it WOULD explain some things about Caius, if he's been mind scrubbed but it didn't quite work right. ;)

Of course, I did write 'core canon' for a reason - it's a 'rule' that is often ignored or skimmed over by a LOT of authors. I have not gotten very far in Inquisitor: Martyr ye; I have not seen any really relative bits.
