The Runner...
the other achievement i saw that seemed a little ridiculous. Unless there are major sequence breaks (which there could be) i doubt someone can make it thru this game within 1 hr. just due to the amount items needed to progress and what it takes to acquire them. again tho i would love to be proven wrong - someone got a video? It's Ok, I'll wait...

A speedrunner (VanessaMagick on twitch) was routing the game and said it would be very hard. My guess is that it is possible (takes about 3 hours of in-game time to finish it normally), but as far as I know nobody has done this yet.

The hard achievements in this game are no joke.

The only person i know that has the achievement is one of developers, but he's giving no clues apart from "find the route" lol.

As Darak says, I've been attempting to route the game, but I sort of lost motivation to keep at it a few days ago. Unless there are skips I'm not aware of, I'm not entirely sure a sub-60 run is possible, but I have faith that the devs wouldn't just make an impossible achievement.

Yea, i was going to inform Darak that i thought you said you were putting your attempts on hold until someone else displayed a proper route for you to, ahem... "borrow" Vanessa :)

Obviously, you have much more faith in ppl than I, the developer is the only one who has the achievement apparently and for some reason won't offer any help? Even if he told what the route was ppl would still have to execute it... anyway - i highly doubt this partricular achievement is possible. what i'm trying to say is, A video or it never happened.

an explanation of the route woud also due in place of a video in verifying the achievements legitimacy.

I'm not seriously hoping someone else comes up with the route, that was a joke. Not that it wouldn't be nice.

If the developer has like, glitches or skips he knows about then yeah, he should definitely help, but if it's just a matter of routing then it wouldn't really be in the spirit of things.

It's all about routing. No glitches used. No fall damage taken (so there is a room for improvement). The only trick used is U-jump (not the greatest time conserver, but it's usefull in some rooms). General route is: White->Red->Green->Yellow->Green->Black->Red->Blue. And yes, that's the ultimate achievement. And it's possible. My PB is 55:58

What's a u-jump?
antales  [developer] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 10:47am
Jump with U trajectory. When character is turning in the air. We considered this a bug, but decided to leave it be, cause it's a usefull trick.

...I'm curious as to how you can get through Yellow without the Wi-fi Receiver, unless you can somehow get the Wi-fi Receiver without bullets or mines.

Thanks for the info.
antales  [developer] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 11:30am
You can't. You need two receivers to complete the yellow. One of them you obtain in red and one in the yellow itself. So first run through the red is obviously to obtain the mask and the receiver.
Vanessa 19 Oct, 2016 @ 11:35am
This is how my early routes worked, but I ended up figuring that getting the receiver from Red was impossible unless you either have a Magnum/SMG, or you go out of your way to get a mine.
antales  [developer] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 11:38am
It's obtainable with a pistol only but requires some skill. Also you can get the SMG beforehand. You will loose about two minutes, but it will help you in future. Also there is a mine on the route, but it's a time loss too.
Darak 19 Oct, 2016 @ 11:48am
You can get the receiver from the red room with no mines or other weapons, as only two slashers will come forward. Once you kill both of them you can run in a straight line towards the door and the other four usually miss their attacks.

I did this in my first playthrough thinking it was the proper way, although I'm not good at doing it consistently.
antales  [developer] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 12:57pm
Yeah, this one is inconsistent due to the bot reaction time randomization. Sometimes it's working, but mostly not.

Also there is a trick to the slashers. They leap at you only if distance is more than some threshold. Otherwise they walk :) Could be usefull.
Darak 19 Oct, 2016 @ 2:29pm
Yeah, I noticed that and used it all the time in my achievements run to get the 80% headshots. If you know a slasher is going to pop up from some trapdoor it is surprisingly safer to stay close.

I just finished the run (and got all 4 achievements I was aiming for!). It was my third run and each one has been as intense as the last. What an amazing game.
