Enter doesn't work?

do you happen to use non-QWERTY keyboard? maybe that is an issue?
or maybe gamepad somehow messes with an input?
also, try to launch Steam in admin mode (maybe some background application gone rogue?)
and double-sure that not a single software that can mess with a keyboard input (like Punto Switcher) is running

if nothing helped, there is a workaround. open the folder
- this is where the game stores your save files. there you can manually rename save files to whatever name you want (even during the game being running!). so, you can do something like that:
1) start the game, save
2) ALT+TAB from the game, open the folder above
3) rename "new save" to something different like "red area done"
4) ALT+TAB back to the game
- you might need to manually load/save game one more time to make the game find a newly renamed savefile, tho

I have a standard keyboard and I usually make sure there's nothing else running when I play games. I'll give that folder workaround a try, thanks.

Do you use a normal Enter of a Num Enter on the numpad?

It's called a Herobook Pro i think.

Cound you try to check if your enter works in the menu?

I tested it and it doesn't seem to work
