if the game is crashing on launch without throwing any error then it is probably a mod problem.
first make sure to have c++ 2015, OpenAL installed and update your driver and all that jazz.
then you need to check if the game has any mods installed. go to properties then check workshop tab. for some reason when i bought the game today it installed with 25 mods!. idk if those were mods i subscribed to many years ago. or they just happen to install on default.
just make sure to check out for any mods that could be causing crashing. in my case it was a 2b mod that was the culprit.
