1. Not all the players play Haydee for that kinda stuff. Some of them would be happy in case of Haydee 2 being less sexy. It's hard to estimate players proportion, but that's a thing we are to consider.
2. Youtube and Twitch are still very sensitive about that. And we are very dependant on free publicity. We are not CD Projekt Red, we have no 30$ millions for our marketing campaign :)
Technically it's possible to make new game more let's say "open minded". But anyway it should contain a fully censored version within. It is still under the consideration of how could we put it right. But please keep in mind, Haydee is not a porn game :)
Also it is good to know what the comminity think about that. So you are welcome to share your thoughts.
Its disgusting to see how this community abuses the "sexy" side of the coin.
Your straight up right with that
Haydee was refreshing to me because it was adult while it also was a competent game on its own right. The encounters required you to be quick on your feet, the puzzles required you to actually think about how to do things and experiment, but the protagonist was very much something out of an adult game or comic. Just because a game is adult, doesn't mean it can't also be a puzzle platformer survival horror third person shooter. Just because a game is a puzzle platformer survival horror third person shooter doesn't mean it can't also be an adult game.
It's a niche combination, but really, when games genres are niche already (puzzle platformer survival horror third person shooter) making them adult(which is also a niche genre) can actually widen the appeal of it (despite adding a niche genre onto a niche genre) because people who play adult games will generally pick up weird bizarre game they might not normally pick up, because they have an adult theme or content to them. A lot of developers abuse and exploit this, making adult games that have little to no value in them, but Haydee is different in that it's a competent, quality game that just happens to be adult. That is nice.
Though really after Haydee 2 if they were to make a game with a muscled powerfantasy lead I'd probably check it out too, because the devs have shown themselves to be fairly competent at game design and playerbase interaction
Nice to see there's a sequel coming up!
Though some unlockables would be nice.
@BIG PEEN JONES: Please, stop padding your messages.
While Haydee is a solid puzzle platformer even without any of the sex appeal, it has its own themes that give it its own unique feel from other games. That isn't to say that Haydee should straight up become a pornographic game or something, not that there's anything wrong with that either if the devs decided to do so, but that wouldn't necessarily be Haydee as it is now either.
I also don't have a problem with modders doing what modders do, sexy or not, and hope that the devs are able to give modders a great deal of leeway in what they can do with the game.
All in all, Haydee is Haydee, let's not lose what we've already got. I'll generally always vote in favor of more on top of what we have as opposed to less, as well as options for those who feel differently.
Couldn’t say it better myself
